Beyoncé has reportedly completed 72 tracks for her upcoming album.
The singer, who recently announced that the new record will be called 4, is said to have “stunned” staff at her record label Columbia with the volume of finished material. They will now have to decide on a final track listing.
“Label staff leave Beyoncé to get on with things, they tend not to interfere when she’s making an album,” a source told The Sun.
“But they weren’t prepared for the sheer volume of material she presented to them. She’s clearly been very productive.
“Now they have the hard job of going through all the music and deciding what will make it.”
It was recently reported that 4, which is expected to be released this summer, will contain a tracksampling Boyz II Men’s 1991 single ‘Uhh Ahh’.
