The ABC comedy, which is in it’s Sophomore season has been handed six additional episodes. It’s recent episode saw former Will & Grace star , Megan Mullally, as Penny Hartz’s (Casey Wilson) overly positive mother.

The alphabet network has renewed the mid-season replacement for a second season. There series which stars Candian actress and former 24 star Elisha Cuthbert, along with former SNL actress Casey Wilson, Eliza Coupe, Adam Pally and Damon Wayans, Jr. It is the only friend like copy to survive.
I have to admit the show has grown on me. The first four episodes were meh! But the rest were Laugh Out Loud hilarious! Seriously Casey Wilson’s character always has good one liners and Wilson’s performance as Penny is excellent. Not to leave her co-stars out, Eliza Coupe and Damon Wayans, Jr. chemistry is on fire. In the recent ninth episode, they both show their competitive side. Brad (Wayans) thinks he can get a job just with his charm. But Jane (Coupe) thinks being organised is key to being employed. Turns out they were both wrong and got rejected. Funny.
This series is the best comedy any US network has to offer this year. Cougar Town is going down the drain.
